Development History of Shincheonji Church of Jesus
On 3 June 1984, the church was first established in the basement of Dongsan Apartment in Bisan-dong, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, and September 24 of the same year, Shincheonji's holy law was announced. On that day, 14 March 1984 was officially declared as the foundation date. At that time, the number of saints was only about 100, but it grew nearly 20 times in 10 years. Therefore, on 14 March 1995, the 11th anniversary of its foundation, Shincheonji's throne organization was formed at the indoor gymnasium of Suwon Public Stadium.

Headquarters churches and branch churches have been established nationwide for each of the 12 tribes, and the number of people following the truth has seen a steady increase. As of November 2023, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has 78 churches in Korea, and more than 360,000 saints lead the life of faith, going to 60 churches across 91 regions in 69 countries overseas.
Especially in 2019, 2022, and 2023, an unprecedented 100,000 graduation ceremonies were consecutively held, astonishing the global religious community. The rapid growth of Shincheonji Church of Jesus is attributed to the presence of God, Jesus, and angels, as well as the increasing number of believers who seek God's word, the truth, every year (refer to Mt 24:30-31).
