It was prepared as a place to share the progress and achievements since its foundation on March 14, 1984, as well as the blueprint for the future.
About 5,000 people gathered on the day, and those who could not attend due to space constraints shared their joy through live broadcasts from Korea and abroad.
General Chairman Lee Man-hee went up to the stage and said, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus believes based on the Bible,” and emphasized, “If we truly believe in the Word of God, believers should not judge based on their own standards but should humble themselves and enter the Word. Other people are not the problem; I myself must become one with this Word.” He then said, “Let us become true Shincheonji believers who are acknowledged by God in order to be qualified to serve God and live in heaven.”
The Cheongju Church, the location of the memorial ceremony, is also receiving attention as it has been hosting large-scale Shincheonji events, including the 110,000 graduation ceremony last year.
The Cheongju Church, which celebrated its 31st anniversary, was established in October 1994 as the 23rd class of the Cheongju Mission Center, and was officially approved as a local church in 1996, taking root in the local community.
Since then, new temples were dedicated from 1999 to 2003 and 2006, and in particular, on April 23, 2006, the 78th class 10th graduation ceremony and temple dedication service were held together.
Homeroom instructor Byun Jae-jun of Cheongju Church said, “Shincheonji Church of Jesus, which has walked according to the will of the Bible in God and Jesus, has celebrated its 41st anniversary since its founding,” and “Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been able to grow without interruption because of the members’ Bible-centered faith.”
Meanwhile, Shincheonji Church of Jesus has been making continuous progress for 41 years since its foundation.
