Shincheonji Volunteer Group's Songhaji Branch revives the tradition of Neungju Deulsori through murals.

Gwanyeong-ri, Neungju-myeon, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, regained its vitality in the last week of October

This was because the Shincheonji Volunteer Group's Songhaji branch, from the 21st to the 27th, filled a 30-meter wall with a beautiful mural, reviving a precious local heritage.

This project, which involved approximately 70 volunteers, vividly recreated the dynamic moment of a Nongak band spinning their hats, centering on Local Cultural Heritage No. 65, "Neungju Deulsori," through a mural.

On one wall, a "Star Tree of Hope" painted in 12 different colors symbolized the hopes and bright energy of the residents.

On the 26th, the Neungju Deulsori Preservation Association held a spirited Nongak performance, brightening the entire village like a small festival.

Residents said, "The warm mural was a great source of strength during a time of great anxiety," and volunteers said, "We hope this painting will last a long time and bring hope."

Going forward, the Songhaji branch plans to continue its service, bridging the gap between local communities and traditions.

At the heart of this moment, when a dying folk song was breathed new life, were the truly inspired volunteers.
